Today Liam asked if we could go to Toy’s R Us when I put him in the car to go run some errands. I said ” no buddy.. not today. He said ” Is it closed? It’s ok it will open again. ” In his little heart it was just closed for the day, but like Target, Best Buy, etc… it would surely open back up tomorrow. Oh never grow up my sweet Liam. Always be a Toy’s R Us kid.

Such an amazing day Chris and Meghan had! Hunter and I just did video for their wedding day. We had a great time working alongside Andrew and Tianna who did the photography. Meghan was so creative in their theme for the day. She had a travel theme, and all through out their details she included that. With Chris being in the Military and needing to travel it truly made their day uniquely theirs.

When I first met with Megan and Austin we had such a great time talking about all their plans for the wedding day. We met at the cutest little shop in Downtown Norfolk called Hummingbird Macarons. A wedding consultation over one of my favorite desserts is a new favorite for me! 

What a beautiful wedding day Claudia and Derek had. It was our first time at Ford’s Colony, and we definitely already can’t wait to be back!

Nicole and Chris’s DC Engagement Session will always be one of my favorites! The elegance that Nicole created in the theme of their photos was just classic. Her deep purple dress with a pair of red bottom heels next to Chris in his black suit was completely stunning! Nicole looked like a total supermodel!

Vicki and Blake had the sweetest wedding day! So many things Vicki put together herself or had her amazing friends help her with. You could just feel the LOVE through out this whole day. Her Grandma made her cake, and Vicki did so many of the decorations completely DIY.

The color palette of peach, mint, and greens were so pretty for the Garden theme of their day. When Blake saw his bride it was all tears. Such a beautiful moment. All the planning and time put into their dream day was here, and everything that they had hoped for.

It is officially busy season for us! Weddings and engagements are surely filling up our weekends and weeknights. When Austin and Megan’s Engagement Session came around I was so happy to have a beautiful Spring evening for them.

The Barns at Timberneck is a hidden gem in our area for sure! We loved shooting there, and it completely brought the rustic vision to life that Morgan and TJ wanted!

This was such a fun Engagement Session! I absolutely loved capturing our couple enjoying something they share together!

We can’t wait for their July wedding at Half Moone in Norfolk!

Such a fun afternoon in Richmond with these two! I have never been to Belle Isle, and I definitely will be going back! Gorgeous place with some incredible views on the water.
