Cidnye and Joe blog_4218.jpg

I have been looking so forward to spending the day with Cidnye and Joe after exploring different areas of Richmond a few months ago for their Engagement Session. It was so much fun! I knew their wedding day was going to be just as wonderful, and that it certainly was!

The day started with gathering details, as it usually does. Cidnye was so organized, and she had everything together ready for me to start styling. The florist also made sure there were some extra loose blooms to use in all the details! Thank you so much for that Nova Blooms! It made capturing the details so perfect.

Once it was time to get Cidnye in her dress I knew exactly where she got that sweet spirit from. Her mom – who was so excited to shower her beautiful daughter with some thoughtful gifts for her big day. And that turned into the two of them exchanging gifts, and lots of happy tears.

Cidnye has such a heart of gold. I loved how she personally thought of each person that was part of her day, She made them feel special with a gift or handwritten note.

I have to share about her dress! So as we were photographing the dress hanging up we realized there was something different about some of the pieces of the dress. Cidnye took her mom’s wedding gown, and had some of the pieces sewed onto hers. She surprised her mom with the dress after she had it done. I LOVED this detail she included in her day. It was STUNNING!

After her getting in her dress it was a “ First Look “ with her bridesmaids and her dad. CUE MORE TEARS! Next it was the ceremony, and Joe’s father was officiating. Such a priceless memory I am sure for Joe to look over, and have his dad standing there with him.

As soon as those doors opened, and Joe saw his bride he had tears welling up in his eyes. They had a beautiful ceremony, and then danced the night away at their reception!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Work!!!
