Meghan and Ricky are such an incredible couple to have met, and had the honor of capturing their day.  They met in the Navy, and have been together for two years. Ricky proposed to Meghan at Christmas time at his families home in New Orleans. They had a pajama Christmas party, and his whole family wanted a picture around the Christmas tree holding up pieces of paper that spelled out ” Merry Christmas “. What Meghan didn’t know was it was a surprise proposal, and they actually turned the letters around for the picture and they read ” Will you marry me? ” How sweet is that? I loved how Ricky included his family, and made it such a special moment that none of them would ever forget! 

They shared their beautiful day at the Oceanaire Resort surrounded by family and friends. Ricky currently is stationed in Mississippi, so he was only allowed two days to come home for his wedding and then had to leave again. Their day was just perfect for the time he was with Meghan. The weather, the venue, and of course all the JOY you could feel during their whole day from everyone!

They have been on two deployments together, and truly traveled the world! Japan, Guam, Australia, Peru, Chile, and Brazil. Now they live 1110 miles away from each other, and continue to be so strong knowing they will be back together soon! Love their story, and I am so happy for them!
