Katie + Rex’s wedding at The Barns at Timberneck was a heartfelt, bohemian celebration. The venue, known for its simple charm and welcoming feel, provided the perfect setting for their special day.

The wedding’s color scheme was inspired by nature. The bridesmaids wore various sage green dresses, and the floral arrangements included terracotta, cream, and a pop of light blue. The mother of the bride also shone in blue. Overall, the palette of sage green, terracotta, dusty blue, and cream set a relaxed, down-to-earth tone.

One of the most touching parts of their story is the proposal. Although they live in Colorado, they were back in Virginia for Christmas when Rex proposed. Surrounded by Katie’s family and her friend Jamie, she felt truly loved and supported as she said yes. This moment was even more special because it took place near the area where Katie grew up.
