Morgan and TJ are truly the sweetest couple. I have enjoyed so much getting to know them through out this year as we get closer to their wedding day in April.

The PERFECT Fall day is what Melissa and Tony had for their wedding. The weather could not of been nicer out. The Wren Chapel is the sweetest little Ceremony Venue for William and Mary Alumni. We have been there a few times for weddings, and just love it! Not to mention after the Ceremony the gorgeous area in Colonial Williamsburg for portraits.

The mountain views in Wintergreen were just stunning! The perfect backdrop for Michael and Amanda’s Engagement Session. We started the evening at Devil’s Backbone Brewery chatting about all things wedding, and then walking around taking advantage of all the perfect photo spots there. I just loved it there! 

Gorgeous buildings, cobblestone streets, and a beautiful sweet couple! Norfolk is quickly becoming a favorite place to photograph! The Downtown setting near Waterside was the perfect place for the vision that Claudia and Derek had for their photos.

I love getting to travel for Engagement Sessions! Seeing different places, and making a day of it when I can is so much fun! That is exactly what we did for Alex and Allison’s photos. Mom and Liam came with me, and we spent such a nice day together. One of the things we did was eat in New Kent at the ” Country Kitchen ” it was SO good! Such a sweet little place right off of some back roads that we found! Everything was delicious, and if you like Krispy Kreme they had a Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding! It was amazingggg! 

Talyor and Tyler’s Engagement Session in Smithfield was truly the picture perfect evening! First thing getting to meet them for the first time was so exciting. We have only chatted through Skype, and emails! As soon as we got started with their photos I knew it was going to be such a fun session. No true posing needed with these two, because they would smile and laugh all on their own together! 

Amanda and Josh just had their one month mark of being husband, and wife! We thought it was a perfect time to share their Wedding Highlight Film on the blog today! 

Their wedding day was just beautiful at the Founders Inn and Spa. Hunter and I had the best time with them, and loved being able to capture their memories on both photo and video that day! 

Morgan and Mike were just incredible to spend the evening with. We walked all around the private beach in Smithfield owned by a good family friend of theirs. They sat on the dock, snuggled in the sea grass, and then ended their evening wrapped up in Morgan’s Grandma’s quilt in a nearby cotton field! 

This was such an AWESOME afternoon for Britni and Philip’s Engagement Session! Philip used to work at the Fighter Factory restoring planes. He was able to have access to the hangers, and made this session by far one of the most unique ones I have ever done. 

Cindy and Zach had the most incredibly perfect wedding day! Gorgeous weather for the first weekend of September, and seriously some of the prettiest light I have ever seen! One of my favorite venues by far in this area is the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth. Such a little hidden treasure for couples to have their dream day staying close to home.
