This has quickly become one of the favorite blog posts we do each year! Looking back at so many wedding days, and laughing continually at Hunter’s dance moves ( with camera in hand ) LOL! There is even one shot of him dancing with camera and video light in hand! He always makes me smile!
What a GORGEOUS wedding day Kelsey and Derek had at Bandit’s Ridge! The prettiest pastels for details and florals. It was such a beautiful and unique venue. The inside reception spot with the light colored wood photographed so classic and nice. The outside little barn area where the horses stalls were was decorated so pretty, and made for a dazzling backdrop of lights for portraits! Not to mention the kindest vendors to work with at the facility. It was such a nice wedding day!
There were SO many incredible moments through out this whole day. Several times where I was definitely moved to tears. Justine’s mom had recently passed away, and they did such a beautiful job honoring her through out the entire day. Her bouquet had a locket on it of her mother and grandmother. There was also a chair dedicated to her at the Ceremony. Justine also held her mother’s wedding photo for some photos with her same hat she wore. That is early in the film.
We were beyond blessed to capture these special memories for Justine and Matt! Make sure to not miss the end of the film during the daddy/daughter dance! I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place! Oh and YES everyone agrees Matt looks just like Vin Diesel haha!!!
This Saturday was so special! I had the sweetest baby shower for our little girl. HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make my shower so perfect. Still can’t believe we are having a precious baby girl soon!
After yesterday’s rainy weather I knew just what beautiful sunny wedding day I wanted to share on the blog today!
Katie and Dan’s day at Half Moon in Norfolk was just that! The sun was certainly shinning, and warm all day…. But if you take a look at their photos you will quickly see that their smiles and laughter was just the same.
I couldn’t be more excited for this sweet couple! Their 2019 wedding is going to be gorgeous right in the OBX at the new Vista Creek venue.
Taryn and Taylor met through their love for Baseball so Taylor had the perfect proposal planned! In 2016 they went to a Braves/Cardinals game, and that was where they first said “ I love you. “ So a year later they got tickets to go to the Friday night contest with postgame fireworks. Taylor had the ring in his back pocket for most of the afternoon, and hid it well Taryn said. When they arrived at the gates before they opened he asked to get a picture taken in front of the stadium sign. So Taryn’s dad took the picture as Taylor got down on one knee! Of course Taryn said “YES!!!”
Seriously Erika you are stunningggg! I had such a wonderful time taking these bridals for you at The Obici House. I truly don’t think this blog needs many words. It is all about this beautiful bride, and her portraits before her big day!
