After yesterday’s rainy weather I knew just what beautiful sunny wedding day I wanted to share on the blog today!

Katie and Dan’s day at Half Moon in Norfolk was just that! The sun was certainly shinning, and warm all day…. But if you take a look at their photos you will quickly see that their smiles and laughter was just the same.

I couldn’t be more excited for this sweet couple! Their 2019 wedding is going to be gorgeous right in the OBX at the new Vista Creek venue.

Taryn and Taylor met through their love for Baseball so Taylor had the perfect proposal planned! In 2016 they went to a Braves/Cardinals game, and that was where they first said “ I love you. “ So a year later they got tickets to go to the Friday night contest with postgame fireworks. Taylor had the ring in his back pocket for most of the afternoon, and hid it well Taryn said. When they arrived at the gates before they opened he asked to get a picture taken in front of the stadium sign. So Taryn’s dad took the picture as Taylor got down on one knee! Of course Taryn said “YES!!!”

Seriously Erika you are stunningggg! I had such a wonderful time taking these bridals for you at The Obici House. I truly don’t think this blog needs many words. It is all about this beautiful bride, and her portraits before her big day! 

Ahhhh so we have some very exciting news for our little family!

We are welcoming a BABY GIRL in January!

Taylor and Tyler have been together for three years, and met through friends. They quickly knew that this was it. Tyler proposed in Charleston, SC after the two took a romantic horse and carriage ride. Tyler had someone take a photo of them in front of the Pineapple Fountain where he got down on one knee. Taylor said it was the perfect evening!

Well… I don’t even know where to start as I begin typing this blog post. Hunter surprised me with the most selfless and sweetest gift for our 10 year anniversary on Friday afternoon. He secretly planned a 10 Year Vow Renewal and Anniversary party. I HAD NO IDEA! Like completely blown away… if you can’t tell by my face in the pictures. I mean I was seriously uglyyy crying ha ha. He told me all week to be dressed, and ready to go somewhere at 6:45 PM on Friday for our anniversary. That was all I knew. I figured we were going out for a nice dinner or something. I was wrong – lol.

Each Engagement Session is different, and our couples always have their own ideas that they want to incorporate. When I started going over the details with Amanda she began sharing some really neat ideas that they were hoping to include in their photos. So we began to plan the best location, and prop ideas for their photos.

Loved being part of Paula and Kyles gorgeous oceanfront wedding day! Paula said ” She had always dreamed of a wedding on a beach.” Her dream certainly came through on May 25th 2018.

It has been such an incredible wedding season with so many amazing couples! I always say our brides and grooms are absolutely the best. They are so kind, joyful, and completely head over heels in LOVE with their grooms.
