Liz and Jordan are married! Their Granary at Valley Pike wedding was absolutely beautiful, filled with the perfect pops of fall colors. It was the perfect day all around for these two wonderful people! Liz and Jordan have been together for 5 and a half years. After a romantic Christmas proposal in Smithfield, the two began to plan their dream fall wedding day.

They chose a beautiful color scheme of burnt orange with splashes of blue, burgundy, gold, and white, which brought their already gorgeous venue even more life. The Granary at Valley Pike is a beautiful venue in the heart of the Shenandoah mountains and provided some spectacular views all day long. Liz and Jordan opted to see each other for the first time at their ceremony and decided to read letters to each other through the door of the bridal suite beforehand. It was SO romantic and absolutely the sweetest momen. We love when our couples follow their hearts when they plan their day. Do what feels right for you!!

After their gorgeous outdoor ceremony, Heather stole Liz and Jordan away for a few portraits. Before long, it was time to head into their reception. And, wow!! Everything looked SO beautiful inside the Granary at Valley Pike! With the most elegant touches of white, gold, and green, everything looked perfect. The night of Liz and Jordan’s wedding, we had an absolutely beautiful sunset – so we snuck them out of their reception for some more portrait time! There’s nothing like a golden sunset on your wedding day! They might be some of our all-time favorite portraits.
