For today’s blog post I felt encouraged to write a little encouragement I gained from Destiny and TJ’s day! 

Life is so much about perspective. How we see things. How we deal with events.  And – most importantly – how we respond. Unfortunately the rain on these newlyweds day was determined to make itself known. You could look at it that it rained most of the day, and wasn’t the sunny beach day they hoped for. Or,  you could look at it from a whole different perspective. It didn’t rain a drop before their ceremony, and it waited until we were able to get some Bride and Groom Portraits finished on the beach before it started. It rained while everyone danced and laughed the night away inside, and gave us just enough of a break to grab some formals outside for Destiny and TJ to have of their friends and family. Then lastly, after it poured a little while longer, the clouds cleared just in time for their sparkler exit.  At precisely the moment they finished their kiss and the sparklers started to go out it started to sprinkle again. 

Destiny and TJ were completely focused on spending forever together, and not going to let the weather “rain on their parade.” As I got in my car that night to leave I remember having such a special feeling from their day. I walked away from that night thinking how blessed we were to not get rained out of the important photo moments – even though it rained most of the afternoon.

I loved getting to see these two amazing people become husband and wife. I wish them much happiness and blessings in this life!
